This policy covers visitors to our website and people who contact us about our services. Where a project involves handling additional personal information, we will explain the relevant arrangements separately.
Information you give us
When you complete our contact form, we collect your name, email address and message. You can also choose to provide your business name and website address.
If you contact us by email or telephone, we may keep the contact details and information you provide during that conversation.
Please only include information relevant to your enquiry. You do not need to provide sensitive personal information.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to questions and enquiries.
- Discuss your requirements and prepare proposals.
- Arrange conversations with the relevant specialist.
- Keep a record of our correspondence.
- Protect our website and contact form against spam and misuse.
Our contact form requires your name, email address and message so that we can respond. Providing the optional fields is your choice.
We do not operate a newsletter or mailing-list signup. Contacting us does not subscribe you to promotional emails.
Our reasons for using your information
Where you contact us about entering into a contract yourself, we use the information needed to take steps at your request before entering that contract.
For general enquiries, correspondence with business representatives and relevant specialist referrals, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to potential customers and running our business.
We also rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the website secure and preventing spam and abuse.
Where we must retain or disclose information to meet a legal obligation, that obligation provides the basis for doing so.
Who receives your information
Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger. Contact-form entries are stored in our WordPress website and sent to our email inbox.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the form from automated submissions.
We may pass relevant enquiry details to the branding, SEO or marketing specialist who can help with your request. We share information relevant to that purpose. If a specialist will provide services directly under their own business, we will explain that arrangement.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Website security and Turnstile
Turnstile processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser information and information about the website being accessed to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic.
Cloudflare processes these signals to provide website protection and also uses them to improve its bot-detection service. Its roles and processing are explained in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Our hosting service may also process technical logs to operate, maintain and protect the website.
We do not use website analytics. Security-related processing still takes place when you use the site.
Where information is processed
Hostinger and Cloudflare use international infrastructure and service providers, so information may be processed outside the United Kingdom.
How long we keep information
We clear contact-form submissions stored in WordPress each month.
Copies sent to our email inbox are managed separately. We carry out an annual clear-out of enquiries that have not led to an ongoing project and are no longer needed.
Where correspondence becomes part of an active client relationship, we keep the relevant information while it is needed to provide the service. After that, retention depends on any continuing support, accounting obligations or need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to:
- Provide access to your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete information we no longer need to retain.
- Restrict how we use your information.
- Provide certain information in a portable format.
These rights are subject to conditions and exceptions under data protection law.
Your right to object: You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including our handling of enquiries or referrals, on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To exercise your rights, email sound@logic-web.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity before dealing with a request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our services or the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
